Our Mission

Making learning challenging, engaging, and fun!

Mission:

As a community of lifelong learners, we will work together to meet the challenges of the 21st century. We learn best when we can all take risks and exhibit independence, pride, and respect for ourselves and others, so that we can make productive contributions to society.

Vision:

Through rigorous and engaging standards-based learning tasks, we will develop creative and critical thinking skills. Thoughtful, collaborative, decision making will support a positive educational environment.

Blended Learning Vision:

Through the use of clear protocols and structures, with access to a universal platform, materials and content, we will enable students to engage in discussions, take risks, reflect on feedback, and choose how their learning is demonstrated.  We will develop a blended learning atmosphere by providing a collaborative, safe, engaging and equitable environment, with seamless movement between online and in-person learning.

Instructional Focus

If we provide opportunities for students to collaborate and engage in meaningful discussions through rigorous real world problem solving activities, then we will strengthen their ability to reason and prove.
