How To Get Involved:
Parent Teacher Association
At The Matilda Avenue School P.S. 483, we have a very active Parent/Teacher Association! Each month we have a PTA meeting where parents/guardians are invited to come to our school to participate in a variety of activities!
Families, teachers, and staff are the backbone of our strong and supportive community at The Matilda Avenue School. Family involvement is a tradition we are trying promote at our school. The more you engage with the school community, the more rewarding your experience at The Matilda Avenue School will be. We encourage you to look for opportunities to volunteer and share your experience and talents. Small or big time commitment – there is a place for you!
The PTA meets monthly and meetings are typically scheduled on the last Wednesday of the month at 6 PM, however please consult the forthcoming PTA calendar for exact dates. PTA meetings are a great place to meet and connect with other families and to support ongoing PTA initiatives and priorities.
