Our Mission

  • As a community of lifelong learners, we will work together to meet the challenges of the 21st century.  Through rigorous and engaging standards-based learning tasks, we will develop creative and critical thinking skills.  Thoughtful, collaborative, decision-making will support a positive educational environment. We learn best when we can all take risks and exhibit independence, pride, and respect for ourselves and others so that we can make productive contributions to society.

We Believe...

  • ALL students CAN learn when we make learning Challenging, Engaging, & Fun!

  • Shared Decision-Making leads to Shared Responsibility

  • Everyone is Welcomed, Respected & Valued

  • Collaboration is the Key to Success

  • Partnerships Increase Student Achievement

School Wide Learning

  • Will focus on 21st Century College and Career Skills so that through all subject areas our students will be able to:

  • Investigate real- world problems and find creative ways to solve them using research skills technology.

  • Develop strong foundational skills and expand those abilities every year through common core aligned curriculum

  • Explore different points of view and use evidence to support and express ideas through discussions

  • Analyze complex topics and learn vocabulary to understand the world through challenging fiction and non-fiction texts

  • Show respect for one another, appreciate differences, and celebrate independence by participating in School Wide Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS)
