Ms. Maria Cioffi
Principal
Ms. Cioffi received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Iona College. She received a master's Degree in Literacy Education from The College of New Rochelle and her School Administration and Supervision Certificate from Mercy College. Prior to founding the Matilda Avenue School, Ms. Cioffi worked at P.S. 76 for 15 years. She was an Assistant principal there for 10 years. This is Ms. Cioffi's 9th year as Principal of the Matilda Avenue School.

Ms. Samantha Young
Assistant Principal
Ms. Young attended Marist College for both her undergraduate and graduate studies. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology & Elementary/Special Education. Her Master's degree is in Educational Psychology. Ms. Young received her extension in Early Childhood Education from Lehman College. Ms. Young received dual certification in School Building Leadership and Technology from the New York Institute of Technology. Prior to joining the staff of The Matilda Avenue School, Ms. Young taught at P.S. 76 in the Bronx. Ms. Young taught for 7years with the New York City Department Of Education. In the Spring of 2020, Ms. Young proudly became the Assistant Principal of The Matilda Avenue School.
